Hello; I just wanted to let you know I filled out 3 applications and I didn't finish I needed
help.and everytime I called there was a recording that stated I would receive a call back and if
not to call back. It also stated to call if you needed help or questions. Which I did. I waited for
1 hr and 45 min on the 30th and someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. This was
the only.day it allowed me to wait. I would pretty much call.daily on my lunch break. I
would really appreciate your help. Thankyou so much for your time. Mia Martinez, Pounds

Liliana,
I am grateful for your assistance! Ms. Pounds had called the organization for assistance with
the application and was never able to speak to a representative to get assistance. At one point
she waited on the phone for an hour and 45 minutes. The three applications are evidence that
Ms. pounds tried to complete the application but needed assistance. Due to the lack of
response from the Housing is Key Organization I would like to know if there is an opportunity
for Ms. Pounds to complete her application due to the lack of response. Thank you again for
your assistance with this matter. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Take care!
Sincerely,
Frances

Good afternoon Ms. Martinez,
I wanted to update you as soon as possible and I just received this notification before
heading out of the office right now:
Mia Martinez
Case ID #509224
Case ID #2315986
Case ID #2316108
It looks like Ms Martinez did not complete an application. All three of those case
numbers are for applications that were started but never completed and submitted.
Unfortunately, the program stopped accepting new applications for assistance after
March 31.
The HCD representative explained above that none of the applications were fully
submitted. The eviction extension of June 30, 2022 would have only applied to you if
you had submitted a complete application before March 31st. Although, Housing is Key
is no longer accepting applications the following is a list of services in Orange County
that I strongly recommend reaching out to for any assistance:
1. Access California Services, they are located in Anaheim and can provide
assistance with self-sufficiency plans, government program application
assistance amongst other services.
For more information you may call them or visit their website. They will be able to
connect you with someone on their staff to manage your case and find you some of the
resources you may need.
