Medical Aids, Fires and Community Events?
Here at the Orange County Fire Authority, we
take great pride in the work we do. We run
medical aid (Battalion 8 ran 1,399 in April
alone) we respond to fires (43 responses in the
same month), and did you know that we also
participate in numerous community events
every month? Whether it’s a station tour, a city
event, the engine or truck visiting a school, a
scout troop looking for a safety talk, or a
citizen-sponsored event, the OCFA loves to be
involved and Battalion 8 is no exception. If you
would like us to attend your event.
Please visit
www.ocfa.org/safetyprograms/educatgionAndO
utreach.aspx and fill out the appropriate form.
Once received, our education specialist will
review the application and do their best to
accommodate the request. Please be advised
that due to training and prior engagement, our
crews are not always available. We look
forward to attending your event.!
