NOTICE
Effective January 2023, the general open session of all regular City Council meetings will
begin at 6:00 p.m.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Members of the public can participate in this meeting as follows:
1. Attend In-Person. First-come, first-served seating is available in the Council Chambers. Face
coverings are recommended and all in-person attendees must be free of any symptoms
associated with COVID-19.
2. Attend Virtually via Webinar. This option provides the ability to provide live public comments
during Oral Communications or Public Hearings and view slideshow presentations. Please
register at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/963617916374879581 to receive an
email containing a link to join the webinar. Advance registration is recommended.
3. Watch the Meeting. The City Council meeting can be viewed live on Spectrum Cable
Channel 36 or on the City's website at www.cypressca.org/watchlive.
4. Listen to the Meeting. The public may participate via the listen-only teleconference mode by
calling (562) 247-8321 and entering Access Code 656-963-235 when prompted. No registration
or audio pin is necessary.
5. Submit Public Comments Prior to the Meeting. The public may submit comments via email
to cityclerk@cypressca.org. Comments submitted by 3:00 p.m. on January 9, 2023 will be added
to the City Council agenda as a Consent Calendar item.

3.Approve Minutes - Meetings of November 14, 2022 and December 12, 2022

Recommendation: Approve as submitted.
4.Approve a Resolution of the Successor Agency to the Cypress Redevelopment
Agency Notifying the Oversight Board Regarding the Disposition of Successor
Agency Assets, Requesting the Oversight Board Adopt a Final Resolution to
Dissolve the Successor Agency, and Directing the Successor Agency be
Dissolved Upon the Oversight Board's Adoption of the Final Resolution

Recommendation: Approve a Resolution which notifies the County Oversight Board
regarding the disposition of Successor Agency assets, requests the Oversight Board
adopt a final Resolution to dissolve the Successor Agency, and directs the Successor
Agency be dissolved upon the Oversight Board's adoption of the final Resolution.
5.Approve a Task Order for the Myra Avenue Pump Station No. 1 and Veterans Park
Pump Station Evaluation
Prepared by: Doug Dancs, Director of Public Works
Recommendation: Approve a task order to AKM Consulting Engineers to evaluate the
Myra Avenue Pump Station No. 1 and Veterans Park Pump Station for $84,022 and
authorize a contingency of $8,400.
6.Receive the Conceptual Design for Cerritos Avenue Frontage Landscape
Improvements, Project 320
