RESOLUTION NO. 6967
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS,
AND ACTING AS EX-OFFICIO GOVERNING BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CYPRESS RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 6909 ESTABLISHING SALARY RANGES FOR
MID-MANAGEMENT POSITIONS
WHEREAS, the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City of Cypress require
salary range adjustments be approved by Resolution of the City Council, and acting as ex-
officio governing Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Cypress, and acting as ex-
officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, that Resolution No.
6909 be amended and that the salary ranges for positions classified as Mid-Management
be approved as follows:
A. Monthly Salary Ranges effective July 5, 2024. Monthly salary ranges will be
adjusted by three percent (3%) and shall be as follows:

Asst. Dir. of Finance & Admin. Services/Finance Manager $11,925 — $15,739
Assistant City Engineer $10,803 — $14,185
Information Technology Manager $10,803 — $14,185
Business Development Manager $10,016 — $13,580
City Clerk $10,016 — $13,580
Human Resources Manager $10,016 — $13,580
Maintenance Superintendent $9,736 — $12,656
Recreation and Community Services Manager $9,736 — $12,656
Network Administrator $8,430 — $11,345
Senior Management Analyst $7,332 — $9,803
Maintenance Supervisor $6,753 — $8,781
Police Support Services Supervisor $6,753 — $8,781

B. Monthly Salary Ranges effective July 4, 2025. Monthly salary ranges will be
adjusted between three percent and three and one-half percent (3% - 3.5%), based
on the May CPI-U.
C. ONE-TIME PAYMENT
All eligible employees in the Mid-Management group shall receive a one-time group
distribution Retention Stimulus of $2,000 which shall be paid in conjunction with the
pay period ending July 19, 2024.
The Retention Stimulus payment is not salary or performance based, is not
considered special compensation or incentive pay and therefore, does not meet the
requirements for reportable compensation to CaIPERS. The gross distribution shall
be subject to all mandated State/Federal withholding and will have no impact on base
salary, salary range or step.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, and acting as
ex-officio governing Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, at a
regular meeting held on the 10th day of June, 2024.
