RESOLUTION NO. 7020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS, EX OFFICIO
GOVERNING BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CYPRESS RECREATION AND
PARK DISTRICT, A SUBSIDIARY DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS
ESTABLISHING THE CYPRESS RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT'S
APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE 2025-26 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the State Constitution establishes and defines annual
appropriations limits of local government; and
WHEREAS, appropriations subject to such limits may not exceed such limits; and
WHEREAS, documentation used in the determination of the appropriations limit for
Fiscal Year 2025-26 has been available to the public in the Finance and Administrative
Services Department for fifteen days as required by Government Code Section 7910; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 7910 also requires that each year the
governing body shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Cypress,
acting as the ex officio governing Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park
District, hereby establishes the FY 2025-26 appropriations limit for the Cypress Recreation
and Park District as follows:
FY 2025-26 Appropriations Limit $12,470,056
FY 2025-26 Population Option Used County of Orange Growth (0.17%)
FY 2025-26 Cost of Living Option Used California Per Capita Income (6.44%)
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, ex officio
governing Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, at a regular
meeting held on the 9th day of June, 2025.
