CYPRESS REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
HELD
June 26, 1995
Agency Chairman Age called the meeting of the Cypress
Redevelopment Agency to order at 9:00 p.m., Monday, June 26,
1995, in the Council Chamber, 5275 Orange Avenue, Cy-press.
MINUTES: It was moved by Agency Member Bowman and seconded
Agency Member Jones to approve the Minutes of May 22, 1995. The
motion carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES:5 AGENCY MEMBERS: Bowman, Carroll, Jones,
Kerry and Age
NOES:0 AGENCY MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: 0 AGENCY MEMBERS: None
CONSIDERATION OF THE ADOPTION OF THE 1995-96 BUDGET FOR THE
CYPRESS REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY: The Executive Director presented
the staff report dated June 12, 1995, which advised that the
preliminary budget was also reviewed by the Board along with the
Agency Board, the Executive Director and Agency Staff. Agency.
Additionally, the Board of Directors reviewed the Agency Goals
and Objectives and recommendations by the Board of Directors have
been incorporated into the budget document presented for
adoption. The total proposed budget i s $412,958 or 26.1% lower
than the previous year's adopted budget. The decrease in the
Capital Outlay is due to the finalization of property acquisition
and relocation costs in the Civic Center and Lincoln Avenue
Project areas.
It was moved by Agency Member Bowman and seconded by Agency
Member Jones to adopt the 1995-96 Agency Budget. The motion
unanimously carried by the following roll call vote:

CONSIDERATION OF CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT OF CONSULTANTS FOR
REDEVELOPMENT SERVICES: The Deputy Executive Director presented
the staff report dated June 20, 1995, which advised of the
utilization of services of GRC Copenhaver, Inc., as redevelopment
consultants for the past several years. The request is to
continue those services for Fiscal Year 1995-96. GRC is being
utilized for technical assistance in areas where a high level of
expertise is required. Housing assistance is critical, since the
implementation of housing assistance programs is scheduled for
this fiscal year.
Councilmember Bowman recommended that the Council receive copies
of GRC Copenhaver invoices and the Deputy Executive Director
would provide those to the Council.
It was moved by Agency Member Bowman and seconded by Agency
Member Jones to authorize the Agency Executive Director to enter
