CRA 99-08-09 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CYPRESS REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY HELD AUGUST 9, 1999 Agency Chairperson Keenan called the meeting of the Cypress Redevelopment Agency to order at 9:40 p.m. in the council Chambers, 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress, California. PRESENT: Agency Members MCCOy, MCGilI, Agency Vice-Chairperson Piercy, Agency Chairperson Keenan. ABSENT: Agency Member Sondhi MINUTES: It was moved by Agency Vice Chairperson Piercy and seconded by Agency Member MCGill tO approve the minutes of the meeting of June 28, 1999, as presented. Agency Member McCoy abstained from voting because he had not been present at the meeting. The motion carried by the following roll call vote: AYES: 3 AGENCY MEMBERS: MCGilI, Piercy, Keenan NOES: 0 AGENCY MEMBERS: None ABSENT: I AGENCY MEMBER Sondhi ABSTAIN: I AGENCY MEMBER MCCOy ApprOval of Lincoln Center Mobile Home Park Landscape Aclreement, The City Manager reported that the item was concerned with the landscaping of the Lincoln Center Mobile Home Park, and was part of the Lincoln Avenue Streetscape Project. He explained that it had been both designed for and included in the bids for that project;. Should the Cypress Redevelopment Agency approve the project, no additional money will be required for its completion, as sufficient funds have been budgeted. The City Manager thanked Mayor Keenan making a contact on behalf of the City with the property manager of the Lincoln Avenue MObile Home Park, in order to get the Agreement fully executed. The Community Development Director was responsible for the development and fine-tuning of the Agreement; a document necessary for the authorization of the project. Staff's recommendation was that the Redevelopment Agency approve the item. Mayor Keenan noted that the Agreement was very equitable, and registered his pleasure that the property managers of the mobile home park agreed to sign it. Under the terms of the Agreement, a large area bordering the Mobile Home Park will be landscaped. In return, the area will be maintained by the Park.
