on December 18, 1961 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at

It was moved by Councilman McCarney, seconded by Councilman
Arrowood, and unanimously carried, the Minutes of November 20, 1961
be approved as mailed.
It was moved by Councilman McCarney, seconded by Councilman

be approved as mailed.

PUBLIC HEARING RE: "CYPRESS LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 2:"
The Mayor announced this was the time and place for the public
hearing to consider protests to the formation of Cypress Lighting
District No. 2 and asked if there was anyone in the audience that
wished to speak for or against this proposed Lighting District.
The City Clerk reported there were no written communications
filed, and there being no oral protests, the Mayor declared the
public hearing closed.

Californ~a Edisom Co., for Cypress Lighting District No. 2, and the Mayor
and City Clerk be authorized to sign the Agreement.
PUBLIC ttEARING RE: ZONE CHANGE Z-54; JOSEPH SOUSA, SR.:
The Mayor announced this was the time and place for the public hearing
to consider an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to fezone from A-2 (Heavy
Agriculture) to M-1 (industrial) approximately four acres located on the
southeast corner cf Moody Street and Orange Ave., as requested by Joseph
So/~sa, Sr., 5042 Orange Ave., Cypress, to be known as Zone Change Z-54,
and asked if anyone in the audience wished to speak for or against th~s
proposed Zone Change.
Mr. Joe Enersom, representing the Southern Cs]~fornia Edison Co.,
;lddressed the Council stating their company proposed to use th~s property
for a pumping station.
There being no written communications and no oral protests, the
Mayor declared the public hearing closed.

CONSIDERATION OF TENTATIVE TRACT MAP NO. 4452; STARDUST LANDS INC.:
The City Clerk presented Tentative Tract Map No. 4452 for property
described in Zone Change Z-Jl as requested by Stardust Lands Inc., P. O.
Box 2067, Anaheim, Calif.
The City Manager reported his office received a written communication
from the Anahe~m Union High School District office dated November 28,
~76] stating they had no objection to the proposed tract.
It was moved by Councilman Denn~, seconded by Councilman Arrowcod,
and unanimously carried, that Tentative Tract No. 4452 be approved as
submu]tted subject to the following conditions:

CONSIDERATION OF DRAINAGE BETWEEN TRACT NO. }9]1 AND THE MORITA PROP~iRTY:
Discussion was held on the drainage between the Morita property and
]?r'tct No. 59] ] and i t was unarlimous]y agreed that Mr. Toups, City Engineer
cnntect the Standard Development Company and see if an agreement could be
resolved between %he property owner and the company and report the results
to the City Council at their next meeting.
CONEIDERATION OF LEASE ON CITY HALL BUILDINGS:
The City Manager presented a proposed lease between the City and Mr.
Carl Trautman for a new ]ease on the City Hail buildings, as follows:
Monthly basis ~DSO.O0 pIus 10% or ~38~.()O per month.
18 month lease at ~3bO.OO per month.
Pive year lease at T.;325.00 per month.
It was moved by Councilman Arrowood, seconded by Councilman McCarney,
and unanimously carried, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
sign a new lease for a period of 1~ months with an option to lease an
udditiona[ ]~ months at the expiration of said ]ease.
APPOINTM~2V? OF FIRM TO SUPPLY ELECTION MATERIALS:
On recommendation of the City Clerk, it was moved by Councilman Van Dyke,
seconded by Councilman Afrowood, and unanimously cartfled, that the firm of
Martin & Chapman Co., Ltd., Anabeim, California be appointed to supply the
ehection materials for the Municipal Election to be held in April, 1962.
APPOINTMN]NT OF PLANNING COMMISSION:
It was moved by Councilman ArrowGod, seconded by Councilman McCarney,
and unanimously carried, bhe Mayor's appointment of John KaneI, D502 Mildred
