Minutes 73-06-26MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CYPRESS CITY COUNCIL HELD June 26, 1973 The adjourned regular meeting of the Cypress City Council was called to order at 7:07 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 1973 in the Cypress City Council Chambers, 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress, California, Councilwoman Frankiewich presiding. RECESS: PRESENT: ABSENT: Councilwoman Frankiewich Councilmen Harvey, Kanel, Lacayo and Roberrs Due to a lack of a quorum, Councilwoman Frankiewich recessed the meeting until 7:15 p.m. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called back to order at 7:15 p.m., Mayor Roberts presiding. PRESENT: ABSENT: Councilmen Frankiewich, Harvey and Roberts Councilmen Kanel and Lacayo The City Council heard presentations on the proposed economic study of the Harvey property from the following firms: Ellerbe, Urbanomics Research Associates, Development Research Associates, Levander, Partridge and Company, and Darley/Gobar Associates, Inc. At the request of Mayor Roberts, it was moved by Councilwoman Frankiewich, seconded by Councilman Harvey and unanimously carried to place on the agenda at this time an item regarding the development of the Cypress School located on the southwest corner of Lincoln Avenue and Grindlay Street, Following discussion, it was requested that the City Manager present to the City Council a report on this matter at their regular meeting of July 9, 1973. Further discussion was held regarding a possible joint meeting with the Cypress Elementary School District Board of Trustees to discuss the price of the surplus school property located at Orange Avenue and Graham Street which the City proposes to purchase for a community park site.
