Recommendation: That the Mayor and City Council officially proclaim June 14, 1997, as "Pause for the Pledge of Allegiance" in conjunction with Flag Day observances. 7. Approval of the City Engineer's Report and Renewal of Cypress Corporate Center Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 for the Landscaped Berm on the North Side of the Stanton Channel, City of Cypress Project No. 861 5- 90. Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution by title only, title as follows, approving the City Engineer's Report and establishing a public hearing for June 23, 1997, declaring the City Council's intention to order the renewal of Cypress Corporate Center Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 for the maintenance of the landscaping and irrigation system on the berm on the north side of the Stanton Channel. Resolution Regarding Faithful Performance Bond for City Officials and Employees. Recommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution by title only, title as follows, allowing City officials anti employees to be included for Faithful Performance/Employee Dishonesty Insurance coverage under one master bond. Acceptance of 92,500 Donation From the Woman's Club of Cypress, and the Appropriation of 92,500 for Purchase of Picnic Tables for Oak Knoll Park. Recommendation: That the City Council, acting as the ex officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District: 1) Formally accept a donation, in the amount estimated at 92,500 from the Woman's Club of Cypress, and increase the Recreation and Park District revenue account //3713 (Donations) by 92,500; and 2) Appropriate $2,500 to Recreation and Park District budget account //4113-12-301-10 for purchase of picnic tables.
