MOTION TO INTRODUCE AND /OR ADOPT ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS PRESENTED FOR CONSIDERATION BY TITLE ONLY AND TO WAIVE FURTHER READING. 3. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING ORANGE COUNTY SUPERVISOR JOHN MOORLACH FOR HIS EIGHT YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE SECOND DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF CYPRESS. PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2014 AS "PANCREATIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH" IN THE CITY OF CYPRESS Prepared by: Denise Basham, City Clerk Recommended Action: That the City Council officially proclaim the month of November 2014 as "Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month" in the City of Cypress. 5. PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2014 AS "AMERICAN DIABETES MONTH" IN THE CITY OF CYPRESS. Prepared by: Denise Basham, City Clerk Recommended Action: That the City Council officially proclaim the month of November 2014 as "American Diabetes Month" in the City of Cypress. CONSIDERATION OF REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE PREPARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTS FOR A PROPOSED SENIOR HOUSING /RETAIL COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF KATELLA AVENUE AND ENTERPRISE DRIVE. Prepared by: Doug Hawkins, City Planner Recommended Action: That the City Council authorize the Mayor to execute the Agreement. 7. AWARD OF CONSULTANT SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE PREPARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTS FOR A PROPOSED SENIOR HOUSING /RETAIL COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF KATELLA AVENUE AND ENTERPRISE DRIVE. Prepared by: Doug Hawkins, City Planner Recommended Action: That the City Council: 1) Approve the contract with LSA Associates, Inc. (LSA) for the preparation of environmental documents for a proposed senior housing /retail commercial development at a cost of $173,831 (Attachment C); and 2) Authorize a contingency of $26,075 (15% of contract amount) for unforeseen work; and 3) Authorize the Director of Community Development to act as the Contract Officer. 8. REVIEW OF INVESTMENT REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, 2014. Prepared by: Matt Burton, Director of Finance and Administrative Services Recommended Action: That the City Council receive and file the Investment Report for the month of October, 2014. 9. APPROVAL OF COMMERCIAL WARRANT LIST AND WIRE TRANSFERS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2014 -15 FOR WARRANTS NO. 32289 THROUGH 32427.
