RESOLUTION NO. 6162
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AND
ACTING AS EX-OFFICIO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CYPRESS
RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT, ESTABLISHING SALARY RANGES AND
BENEFITS FOR MID-MANAGEMENT POSITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Cypress, and
acting as ex-officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park
District, that the positions classified as Mid-Management positions listed below,
shall not receive an adjustment to their monthly pay range through June 30,
2010, but will receive a retention distribution.
A. Monthly Salary Ranges through June 30, 2010. A salary adjustment
and/or merit increase for Mid-Management shall be made within the
respective range and as approved by the City Manager based on job
performance.

B. RETENTION STIMULUS
All employees in the Mid-Management group at the commencement of the
first payroll period after approval of this resolution shall receive a one-time
gross distribution of $3,500.
The Retention Stimulus payment is not salary or performance based, is
not considered special compensation or incentive pay and therefore, does
not meet the requirements for reportable compensation to CaIPERS. The
gross distribution shall be subject to all mandated State/Federal
withholdings and will have no impact on base salary, salary range or step.
C. All Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded.
