Resolution No. 6207 RESOLUTION NO. 6207 260 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AND ACTING AS EX-OFFICIO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CYPRESS RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT, ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR THE CONFIDENTIAL POSITIONS OF HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST, MANAGEMENT ANALYST, SECRETARY TO THE CITY MANAGER AND HUMAN RESOURCES TECHNICIAN. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Cypress, and acting as ex- officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, that salary ranges and benefits for the positions of Human Resources Analyst, Management Analyst, Secretary to the City Manager and Human Resources Technician are as follows: A. Monthly Salary Ranges through June 30, 2011. RETENTION STIMULUS All employees in the Confidential group at the commencement of the first payroll period after approval of this resolution shall receive a one-time gross distribution of $2,000. The Retention Stimulus payment is not salary or performance based, is not considered special compensation or incentive pay and therefore, does not meet the requirements for reportable compensation to CaIPERS. The gross distribution shall be subject to all mandated State/Federal withholdings and will have no impact on base salary, salary range or step. C. Confidential employees hired after July 1, 2010 shall pay 3% of salary towards their PERS retirement contribution. D. Other Benefits — The positions of Human Resources Analyst, Human Resources Technician, Management Analyst and Secretary to the City Manager shall be provided other benefits as provided to the Cypress Employees' Association.
