A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AND ACTING AS EX-
OFFICIO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CYPRESS RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT,
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 5259 AND ESTABLISHING SALARY RANGES AND
BENEFITS FOR MID - MANAGEMENT POSITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Cypress, and acting as ex-
officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, that the positions
classified as Mid - Management listed below, shall have an adjustment made to each salary
range and each position shall maintain benefits as follows:
A. Monthly Salary Ranges Effective July 1, 2005. A salary adjustment and /or merit increase
for Mid - Management shall be made within the respective range and as approved by the
City Manager based on job performance.

B. Health Benefits — Mid - Management positions shall be provided health insurance coverage
as provided to other employee bargaining units in the City. The City's contribution for
medical and dental insurance shall be based on the benefit plan formula shown in the
Schedule of Benefits for Management Employees.
C. Miscellaneous — Leave benefits and all other fringe benefits remain the same with no
change. The classifications of Administrative Services Manager and City Clerk shall
receive an Auto Allowance of $300.00 /month. A retiree of a Mid - Management position
may receive payment for supplemental health care in the amount of $300 /month after 10
years of continuous service. Mid - management positions shall be eligible to participate in a
Retiree Health Savings. Plan with ICMA Retirement Corporation.
D. All Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, and acting as ex-
officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, at a regular meeting held
on the 13th day of June, 2005.
