A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AND ACTING AS EX-
OFFICIO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CYPRESS RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT,
A SUBSIDIARY DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS, RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
4661 AND ESTABLISHING SALARY RANGES AND BENEFITS FOR TOP MANAGEMENT
POSITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Cypress, and acting as ex-
officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, a subsidiary District of
the City of Cypress, that the positions classified as top management, as listed below, shall have
adjustments in salary ranges and maintain benefits, as follows:
A. Monthly Salary Ranges (adjustments to the top of the range are in effect at the beginning of
the closest pay period to July 1, 1997) -
POSITION Effective: 6/27/97 (P.M.)
City Manager $ 8,927 - $10,712
Police Chief $ 7,410 - $ 8,892
Community Development Director $ 6,676 - $ 8,011
Public Works Director /City Engineer $ 6,589 - $ 7,907
Finance & Administrative Services Director $ 6,414 - $ 7,697
Recreation & Park Director $ 6,041 - $ 7,249
B. Health Benefits - Those classifications listed above shall be provided health benefits and
other insurance coverages as provided to other employee bargaining units in the City. The
City's contribution formula for medical and dental insurance shall apply to top management
positions as are in effect for the Cypress Mid - Management Employees' Association.
C. Miscellaneous - Leave benefits and all other fringe benefits shall remain the same with no
change. Car allowance for department head positions remains the same at $175 /month.
D. All Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, and acting as ex-
officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreatioyend Park District, at a regular „meeting held
on the 14th day of July, 1997.
