HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 885127 ORDINANCE NO. 885 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AMENDING SECTION 10.1 OF THE APPENDIX I, "ZONING," OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Section 10.1 A and B, "Permitted and Conditional Uses," in commercial zones of Appendix I, "Zoning," of the Code of the City of Cypress are hereby amended to read as follows: "OP- CN- GG- CH- 10000 A. Offices and Related Uses:* 10000 10000 10000 1. Administrative and Executive Offices, i.e. Attorneys, Accountants, Tax Consultants, Real Estate Brokers, Architects, Engineers p p P P 2. Artist and Photographic, Dance, and Karate Studios, Not Including the Sale of Equipment or Supplies 3. Clerical and Professional Offices 4. Financial Institutions 5. Fortune Telling 6. Instant Photocopy Businesses, Such as PIP, Kinkos, and Sheet Feed Printing, etc... 7. Medical, Dental and Related Health Services For Humans, Including Laboratories and Clinics; Only the P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P * The uses which one set forth in this ordinance have been alphabetized for clarity purposes only. The enactment of this ordinance and the reorganization thereof is not intended nor shall have the effect of repealing, expanding, enlarging, or vesting any conditional or permitted use which conflicts with the ordinance in effect on the date the permitted or conditional use was approved by the City, with the exception of Section 10.1 B 60.1 which is a new enactment. -1- Sale of Articles Clearly Incidental to the Services Provided Shall be Permitted 8. If any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this Ordinance, is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this Ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases or portions thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION III. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify as to the passage of this Ordinance and to give notice thereof by causing copies of this Ordinance to be posted in three public places throughout the City. FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the llth day of May , 1992 and finally adopted and order posted at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of May , 1992.
