Ordinance No. 700ORDINANCE NO. 700 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 640, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS, BY PLACING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN THE RS -6,000 RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY ZONE, RM -15 RESIDENTIAL MULTIPLE FAMILY ZONE AND PS -1A PUBLIC AND SEMI - PUBLIC ZONE AND KNOWN AS ZONE CHANGE NO. 82 -2. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The adoption of zone designations as approved by the City Council is consistent with the Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of Cypress. SECTION II. All the certain property described as follows is hereby zoned RS -6,000 Residential Single Family Zone: In accordance with attached Exhibit "B ": Two parcels of land situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and being a portion of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.M., as said section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscel- laneous Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, and more particularly described as follows: Parcel 1: Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City of Cypress, said angle point being on the northwest corner of Annexation No. 68 -2 to the City of Cypress, said angle point being on the northerly right - of -way line of the Pacific Electric Railway, said point also being a point on the boundary of Tract No. 602 as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps 30 -8 in the County of Orange Township 4 South,Range 11 West; thence northerly and easterly along said Tract boundary to a point on the centerline of Watson Street, thence southerly along said centerline to a point on the City of Cypress Annexation No. 71 -2, thence southerly and westerly along said annexation to a point on City of Cypress Annexation No. 68 -2, said point also being in the northerly right -of -way line of the Pacific Electric Railway, thence northwesterly along said right -of -way line to the point of beginning. Parcel 2: Beginning at a point on the northeast corner of Tract No. 3757 as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps 136 -41, 42 in the County of Orange Township 4 South,Range 11 West; thence continuing southerly, westerly, northerly and easterly along said Tract 3757 boundary to the point of beginning. SECTION III. All the certain property described as follows is hereby zoned RM -15 Residential Multiple Family Zone: In accordance with attached Exhibit "B ": Two parcels of land situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and being a portion of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.M., as said section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscel- laneous Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, and more particularly described as follows: Parcel 1: Beginning at the northwest corner of Tract No. 1215 as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps 38 -8 in the County of Orange Township 4 South, Range 11 West, said point also being on the centerline of Walker Street, thence easterly and southerly along the north and east tract boundaries of said Tract 1215 to a point on the east tract boundary of Tract 1177 as shown in Miscellaneous Maps 37 -22 in County of Orange, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, thence southerly along said tract boundary to a point on the east tract boundary of Tract 1150 as shown on Miscellaneous Maps 36 -32 in County of Orange Township 4 South,Range 11 West, thence southerly along said tract boundary to a point on the northerly boundary of the City of Cypress De Polter Annexation, thence westerly and southerly along said Annexation to a point 285 o „northerly boundary of the City of Cypress Annexation No. 1, thence westerly along said Annexation to a point on the easterly boundary of City of Cypress Annexation No. 68 -2, thence northerly and westerly along said Annexation to a point on the easterly boundary of City of Cypress Annexation No. 71 -2, said point also being on the westerly tract boundary of said Tract 1177, thence northerly along said tract boundary to a point on the westerly tract boundary of said Tract 1215, thence northerly along said tract boundary to the point of beginning. Parcel 2: Beginning at the southeast corner of Tract No. 602 as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps 30 -8 of the County of Orange Township 4 South,Range 11 West said point also being on the centerline of Walker Street, thence westerly along the southerly tract at boundary of Tract 602 to a point on the centerline of Watson Street, thence northerly along said centerline to a point on the northerly line of the south half of Section 9 Township 4 South,Range 11 West said line also being the centerline of Crescent Avenue, thence easterly along said centerline to a point on the City of Cypress Boundary Line, thence southerly and easterly along said boundary line to a point on the westerly boundary of Tract 3757 as shown on a map as recorded in Miscellaneous Maps 136 -41, 42 in the County of Orange Township 4 South,Range 11, thence southerly along said tract boundary to a point on the southerly boundary line of the Ben Fallert Lands as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps 2 -16 of the County of Orange Township 4 South,Range 11 West, said line also being the northerly property line of Mackay Elementary School, thence westerly along said property line to a point on the centerline of Walker Street, thence southerly along said centerline to the point of beginning. All the certain property described as follows is hereby zoned PS -1A Public and Semi - Public Zone: In accordance with attached Exhibit "B ": Two parcels of land situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and being a portion of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.M., as said section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscel- laneous Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, and more particularly described as follows: Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the northwest corner of Tract 602 as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps 30 -8 in the County of Orange Township 4 South, Range 11 West, said point also being on the westerly City boundary line of the City of Cypress, thence northerly along said boundary line to a point on the centerline of Crescent Avenue, said centerline also being the northerly line of the southwest corner of Section 9 Township 4 South, Range 11 West, thence easterly along said centerline to a point on the centerline of Watson Street, thence southerly along said centerline to a point on the northerly boundary of Tract 602, thence westerly along said boundary line to the point of beginning.
