AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CYPRESS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 559,
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS,
BY PLACING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND IN THE
RS -6000 RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY AND PS -1A
PUBLIC AND SEMI- PUBLIC ZONES AND KNOWN AS
ZONE CHANGE NO. 76 -5
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Ordinance No. 559, which Ordinance is the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Cypress, is amended by placing the property described in
Section II hereof, in the RS -6000 Residential Single Family and PS -1A
Public and Semi Public Zones:
SECTION II: The property which is the subject of this Ordinance is
described as follows:
A parcel of land situated in the County of Orange, State of California,
and being a portion of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 11 West in
the Rancho Los Coyotes as said Section is shown on a map recorded in
Book 51, page 11, of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County;
Beginning at the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of the south-
east quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 8, said point of
beginning also being in angle point in the existing boundary line of the
City of Cypress, said angle point created by the Rombout Annexation
(City Ordinance No. 133, dated July 16, 1962) and being the most north-
easterly corner of the south half of Tract No. 4470 as shown on a map
recorded in Book 167, pages 27 through 30, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, said point being the true point of beginning:
Thence (1) South 89° 07' 34" West, 189.41 feet along the south line of
the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 8,
said south line also being the boundary of said Tract No. 4470,
to an angle point in the boundary of said Tract No. 4470;
Thence (2) North 0° 03' 00" East, 1061.85 feet along the east boundary
of said Tract No. 4470, said east boundary line also being a
boundary line of said Rombout Annexation, to a point on the
northerly right -of -way line of the Pacific Electric Railway;
Thence (3) South 53° 25' 00" East, 609.39 feet along said northerly right -
of -way line of the Pacific Electric Railway;
Thence (4) South 00° 03' 00" West, 691.19 feet along the westerly right -
of -way and northerly prolongation of Gay Street to a point on
the said south line of the northeast quarter of the northwest
quarter of said Section 8;
Thence (5) South 89° 07' 34" West, 300.31 feet along said south line to
the true point of beginning.
Containing 9.853 acres of land more or less.
SECTION III: This Ordinance will not become effective until the
subject property is annexed to the City of Cypress.
FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on the 26th day of July and finally adopted and ordered posted at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 23rd day of August, 1976.
