AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY
OF CYPRESS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 559 BY
APPROVING PRE - ANNEXATION ZONE CHANGE NO. 77 -5.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Ordinance No. 559, which Ordinance is the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Cypress is amended by placing the property described in
Section II hereof, in the CH -10000 Commercial Heavy Zone. This Ordinance
not to become effective until property is annexed into the City of Cypress.
SECTION II: The property which is the subject of this Ordinance is
described as follows:
A parcel of land situated in the County of Orange, State of California,
being a portion of Sumner Place and Lot 1 of Tract No. 3532 in Section 8,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.M., as said Tract is shown on a map
recorded in Book 127 at pages 26 through 28 in the office of the County
Recorder of said County:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the south line of said Section
8 and the east line of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of
said section; thence northerly along said east line to the north line of
the south 66.00 feet of said section, said line being the north right of way
line of Lincoln Avenue, said point being the southwest corner of said Lot 1 of
Tract No. 3532, said point being a point on the corporate boundary of the City
of Cypress as defined by the Lincoln Annexation, Ordinance No. 163, and said
point also being the true point of beginning;
Thence (1) North 0° 02' 53" East, 175.00 feet along the west line of said
Lot 1 and along the said corporate boundary to the northwest
corner of said Lot;
Thence (2) North 89° 47' 30" East, 154.08 feet, departing from the said
corporate boundary, along the north line and the Easterly pro-
longation of said Lot to the centerline of said Sumner Place
and the current corporate boundary of the City of Cypress per
Annexation 75 -1 to the City of Cypress under Resolution No. 1524.
Thence (3) South 0 0 10' 13" East, along said centerline and said corporate
boundary a distance of 175.00 feet to the Northerly right of way
line of Lincoln Avenue, said line being parallel to and distant
+ 66.00 feet Northerly of the South line of said section 8, and
the said Corporate boundary.
Thence (4) South 890 47' 30" West, 89.75 feet along said Northerly right of
way and said Corporate boundary in the said corporate boundary as
defined by the Buell Annexation, Ordinance No. 132;
Thence (5) Continuing South 89° 47' 30" West, 65.00 feet along said south
line of said Lot and along the said corporate boundary to the
point of beginning.
Containing 0.62 acres of land, more or less.
FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on the 23rd day of January 1978, and finally adopted and ordered posted
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 14th day of February 1978.
