AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 90 BY CHANGING THE ZONE OF A CERTAIN PARCEL OF
LAND FROM ORANGE COUNTY ZONE CLASSIFICATION R -4 (MULTIPLE- FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL) to CITY OF CYPRESS ZONE CLASSIFICATION R -3 (MULTIPLE -
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) KNOWN AS ZONE CHANGE NO. Z -206.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Ordinance No. 90, which Ordinance is the Zoning Ordi-
nance of the City of Cypress, is amended by placing the property described
in Section II hereof, in the R -3 (Multiple - Family Residential) Zone.
SECTION II: The property which is the subject of this Ordinance is
described as follows:
A parcel of land situated in the County of Orange, State of California,
and being a portion of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 11 West,
S.B.M. as said Section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 11
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Walker Street and
the westerly prolongation of the southerly right of way line of Vonnie
Lane as said right of way line is shown on the map of Tract No. 1177
recorded in Book 37, page 22 of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of
the said County Recorder, said point being a point in the corporate
boundary of the City of Cypress as defined by annexation No. 68 -2,
Ordinance No. 409.
THENCE (1) North 0° 23' 12" West 570.36 feet more or less along said
centerline of Walker Street, departing from the said cor-
porate boundary, to the Southeast corner of the Northeast
quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 9. Said
corner also being the Southeast corner of Tract No. 602
recorded in Book 30 Page 8 of Miscellaneous Maps in the
Office of the said County Recorder.
THENCE (2) South 89° 41' 37" West 659.90 feet along the south line
of said Tract No. 602 to the intersection of said South
line and the centerline of Watson Street. Said centerline
also being the West line of the East half of the Southeast
quarter of the southwest quarter of said Section 9.
THENCE (3) South 0° 23' 12" East 140.50 feet along said centerline
and said West line to the intersection with a line that
is parallel with and distant 140.50 feet south of the
South line of Tract No. 602.
THENCE (4) South 89° 41' 37" West 394.51 feet along said parallel
line to the intersection with the Northeasterly right
of way line of the Pacific Electric Railway, said inter-
section being a point in the corporate boundary of the
City of Cypress as established by said annexation 68 -2.
THENCE (5) Along said corporate boundary of said annexation 68 -2, the
following courses and distances: South 53° 24' 06" East
531,44 feet,
THENCE (6) North 0° 23' 12" West 250 37 feet.
THENCE (7) South 530 24' 06" East 751.01 feet..
THENCE (8) North 0° 23' 12" West 90.02 feet, more or less to the
intersection with the westerly prolongation of the souther-
ly right of way line of Vonnie Lane
THENCE (9) North 89° 41' East 30,00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following described parcel:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the Quarter Section line
running North and South through the center of Section 9, Township
4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.B. & M., with the Easterly prolongation
of the Northerly line of Lot 8 in Block 3 of "Cypress" as shown on
a map of a portion of Cypress recorded in Book 7, page 19 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, and running
thence from said point of beginning Northerly along said North and
South quarter section line, 239.30 feet; thence Westerly along a
line parallel with the Northerly line of the above mentioned Block
3, 1054,02 feet, more or less, to an intersection with the North-
easterly line of the right of way of the Pacific Electric Railway
Company; thence Southeasterly along said Northeasterly right of way
line, 493,37 feet, more or less, to the intersection with the Northerly
prolongation of the center line of Watson Street; thence Northerly
along said projected centerline to its intersection with the North-
westerly projection of the Northeasterly line of Lot "A" as shown on
said map; thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of said
Lot "A" and its projection to its intersection with the Westerly
projection of the Northerly line of said Block 3; thence East along
said Northerly line and its Easterly and Westerly projections 402.21
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING also any previously dedicated public Right of Way.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress at a
regular meeting held on the 13th day of December, 1971.
