A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS AND ACTING AS EX- OFFICIO BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CYPRESS RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT, A SUBSIDIARY DISTRICT
OF THE CITY OF CYPRESS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4048, ESTABLISHING SALARY
RANGES AND OTHER BENEFIT CHANGES FOR THE TOP MANAGEMENT POSITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Cypress, and acting as
ex- officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, a
subsidiary District of the City of Cypress, that the position classifications
entitled "Top Management" personnel, as listed below, shall have adjustments in
salaries and benefits, as follows:

B. Deferred Compensation - Effective beginning 12- 20 -91, the City shall
cont ribute one (1) per cent of the employee's base salary to each of the above -
listed employee's deferred compensation plan(s) administered by the City. [No
change]
C. Automobile Allowance - For those employees listed above currently receiving
auto allowance, the City shall, effective 12- 20 -91, pay $175 per month for auto
allowance. [The City Manager shall not receive auto allowance, therefore, no
change.]
D. PERS Highest Single Year - For those employees listed above currently
contributing 0.472% of their base pay for the retirement benefit known as "Single
Highest Year," the City shall, effective 12- 20 -91, pay for said benefit as part
of the employer's retirement rate. [No change except for the deletion of the City
Attorney]
E. Health Benefits - Those employees listed above shall be provided health
benefits as provided to other employee bargaining units in the City, effective
1 -1 -92, and pay for any co- payments as listed in said plan. [No change]
F. * City Manager Benefit Exchange - This change in salary is a direct result of
exchanging contractual benefits to salary, thereby deleting the contract
provisions of: annual medical exam ($41.67/mo.); special life insurance policy
($61.67/mo.); and, the furnishing of a City Car [(including unrestricted use,
maintenance, gasoline, insurance, licensing, and replacing every 3
years)($800 /mo.)].
This Resolution shall become effective on June 18, 1993, and all
resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cypress, and acting
as ex- officio Board of Directors of the Cypress Recreation and Park District, at
a regular meeting held on the 25th day of Oct er, 1993.
